There's still room for cold...

God bless Second Life, where one can pretend it's dead cold winter, dress like cold winter, and even see cold winter... if only one could feel it, too! Oh well... guess that's what you got for living in the Mediterranean coast of Spain, well into July, and not a particularly brisky day... you delude yourself into wishing you were somewhere else.

Anyway, here's Hoorenbeek's latest release, as usual on far reduced price during the initial weekend: a very warm bomber jacket. What, almost in the middle of July? Why, yes, just take a look at the pic and tell me it doesn't look cool, eh? Not only you can indulge the feeling on being in winter... you can always keep it for when actual autumn and winter come!

Also as usual, there's many wearing options. First, you can use the open or closed version; for each of them, there's a nifty “integrated shine” (they call it “baked”) which basically simulates the extra shininess you'd probably get by activating ALM and Materials... but with this option, you get the look without needing to activate those... yay for lower end machines!; and then there's a version without the shine, but still very cool-looking. On top of that (actually, under it, but you get the idea), there's a piece of shirt and a piece of turtleneck jersey for the closed version... a pity there isn't one for the open one, so for the first pic, I just picked an actual turtleneck jersey from Hoorenbeek, a separate product (in the pic I'm wearing the cut version meant to be used with their jackets, so no weird clothing poking out).

For both pics I stayed loyal by wearing one of their long cargos in one pic, and their first mesh jeans line (they now have a rather more extensive one, but it's different in textures, modelling and options, so it's great to have both); also on both I wore their Mesh Scout Boots, gritty black, which fit just nicely; and finally, their rather old (and thus sculpty) but still very effective Retro Glasses. Then my loyalty to them ran out of options, lol, so the rest of details (hair with beanie, smoking pipe, etc.) come from different stores -though they have in fact several nice enough alternatives for some of those.
